No More Baduy Days: Just Comfy & Cute

Back in high school and college, I used to dress so baduy as I was trying to be trendy or fashionable. That’s why, when I started becoming more conscious about how I look, I realized I feel more confident when I just wear what’s comfortable but still looks put-together.

Now, I go for pieces that aren’t trendy but have that “common sense” kind of fashion… simple, classic, and wearable. I’m not a fashionista, so I don’t shop here and there for outfits. I usually stick to basics, plain colors, and timeless styles. I avoid super colorful or printed clothes… unless it’s Barbie or Barbie pink! Always an exception

Sometimes my friends gift me clothes too, which I really appreciate!

This is what I wore for a chill day at the mall and to gorge at Vikings Buffet. I love that I can enjoy more food now without feeling restricted, thanks to working out regularly. Still working on toning my body, but I’m glad I get to enjoy good, healthy food. Plus the occasional treat because, hey, it’s cheat day!

Brown Mood, Hoops & Turtlenecks

Wore one of my favorite outfit combos: a brown turtleneck over a dress (first time trying that pairing and I loved it!). I’ve always been obsessed with turtlenecks! It’s hands-down a fave in my wardrobe because I can style it with almost anything: skirts, shorts, pants… and now, dresses too!

I was carrying a lovely Furla bag, a sweet gift from Tita B <3 And even though I forgot to snap a photo of my wedges (oops), they pulled the look together nicely.

Also: one reason I adore turtlenecks? They make hair updos so easy. Less prep, more polish. I  always pair them with hoops because hoops + turtlenecks = my forever combo.

Blue

Say hello to my fat face! The only thing that’s fat. This is why whenever I do my makeup, I make sure I always contour. Not during this time though kasi nasa beach lang naman! But I did my kilay (always has to be on fleek no matter what), put on CC cream, sunscreen as well! and a lip & cheek tint from Fairy DollRead More
