Happy birthday, my funny man

– not my most flattering face (i know) but this is one of my favorites photos of us♡ taken circa 2016

This cute birthday boy actually almost forgot that today was his birthday – he thought it was going to be next week! He’s a busy man yet always finds time for me♡

We were supposed to spend his birthday weekend at a resort (my surprise gift for him) in Samal but because I was not feeling very well and for other reasons, we both agreed to postpone it. He craved for some hito (catfish) on his special day and so I Googled places that are known for hito. After getting lost on our way to Mintal, we finally found this restaurant, Dok Frank Resto, somewhere in Tugbok District. But before we left his condo for a very late lunch (at almost 5 in the afternoon!), I surprised him with a birthday card and a new pair of white shoes to kinda match with my Superstars he gifted me on my 24th. Needless to say, we both wore white kicks that day para feeling #coupleshoes. Hehe. Things didn’t go exactly as planned but this day was still fun
