Arianne tries to cook: chicken adobo with eggs

I started my hashtag series, ArianneTriesToCook, which I created merely for me to document my feeling foodie moments, on my Instagram account and this is the first one that I shared: cheesy scrambled eggs with broccoli. Few months later, due to our Japan vacation hangover, I cooked grilled bacon wrapped asparagus.

And that was the last #ArianneTriesToCook post on my feed. I’ve only been posting (sometimes) on my Instagram stories since. Surprisingly, there was a lot of cooking moments I’ve had before – I found lots of pictures of it while I was organizing my laptop – but wasn’t able to share all of it online. Yet I tried recalling what else I “cooked” before that I posted online, so I typed in my hashtag and found my tweet: www.alwaysarianne.com

So it was in 2015 that I first tried cooking. Chicken with broccoli – a dish that I can eat all day, every day! I think I’ve cooked it myself for 3-4 times already. There’s more recipes or dishes I want to learn how to cook. And the one on my list is this Chicken Adobo or Adobong Manok in Filipino. My boyfriend’s ultimate fave dish so I just had to. ❤ I’m so glad my boyfriend really liked it! Kulang lang daw ng adobong sabaw. Hehehe. I guess what inspired me to try cooking is pasta. Yes, pasta! Next to french fries, I love pasta. I always, ALWAYS wanted to make pasta all by myself so I could eat it anytime I want to! And while I suck at cooking measurements and equivalents, I actually find cooking so much fun to do! My first attempt in making creamy carbonara was a fail but I’m going to try again! Anyway. I thought of sharing my feeling foodie moments from now on here on my blog instead since my online presence isn’t that active anyway. Hehehe.
