Freshly Pressed

October + Favourites and more

My October this year went great although, I didn’t blow candles on the day of my birthday (because I forgot to. Oops.) Nevertheless, I’m happy to have finally gotten over one thing that demanded a decision. I had to quit my first “job”. It was not a happy place for me to be. I did not like the pressure that came from other people and the work environment. Perhaps because I’m a fresh graduate and I feel that I should enjoy things that I love and like doing? (Which, btw, I will never get to do ten years from now).

Anyway. Since October’s my birth month, I received things from wonderful people and I’d like to share them tonight as my month-ender post!

Mary Kay Holiday Gift Guide, October-December Issue 2013, which I got featured in! I may not be its cover girl, but looking at my photo is enough to make me feel like a legit model, Haha! Thanks to Mary Kay Philippines for sending me many copies! <3

Uhm, I’d really like to think October has been good to me in all fairness. Except that few moments ago holy shit just happened. Sorry to end this way but I wish everyone of you a happy, spooky Halloween!!!

We did it! Team Philippines!

Team Philippines did it! ❤ I won 1st Runner Up of Mary Kay Woman Can Beauty Contest in Asia Pacific! Yay! I honestly did not expect this! There were 24 models, from 7 different countries, so it’s really hard for me to believe that I was included in the top three! This is definitely one for the books!

For countless times however, I doubted my self yet I feel blessed and grateful especially for the support of my family, relatives and friends. They are the first ones who believed I could make it. I wouldn’t have gone this far if it wasn’t because of my Independent Beauty Consultant, Ms. Vanezza, who encouraged me and really pushed me to join this international contest. So a million thank you!

I also want to congratulate fellow Filipina, Fatima Saquilabon, for being the grand winner and 2nd runner up Ephraim from Singapore! As well as Deniece Cornejo, who was stunning all throughout. Couldn’t be more proud for Team Philippines!

Back in the hotel now. Lying in bed with my legs up the wall. I can’t wait to wander around Hong Kong tomorrow. AHH. MY HEART IS FULL. I FEEL LIKE I’M FLOATING. I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE IT. ❤❤❤ (at Hong Kong 香港)
