Category: From the Digital Desk of Arianne

My behind-the-screen space where I share bits of my tech life…building WordPress sites, playing with Elementor, testing tools and productivity systems, and figuring things out one click at a time. It’s not all code and chaos, just fun fixes, favorite finds, and the digital things that make life (and work) smoother.

Rearranging My Cloffice (for the 100th time… but it’s perfect now)

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve rearranged my home cloffice (closet and office in one). I’ve switched things around so many times: the two desks, vanity table, even the mirror. But this time, it finally feels right.

Before, my desk faced the wall with the big windows behind me, so I couldn’t really enjoy my space. But with my new setup now, I can see almost every corner of my cloffice! The trees from both sides of the windows, my closet, my door, pet corner, the couch, and my makeup station.

And this is the little cozy office corner where I can comfortably move around.

I love that my background looks so much better for online meetings. I no longer have to stress about making sure everything behind me is spotless. Life happens you know… Sometimes your room just gets messy. Now, my background is just a plain wall with the pink beam post.

It’s not a big change, but somehow it feels like it completely changed the energy of the room. It’s cozy, functional, and totally me. I love how it turned out. will try to vlog my cloffice next time!

22 Years of WordPress, 16 Years With Me

Dear WordPress,

There are very few things in life I get absolutely hooked on, and you’re one of them.

Blogging was such a big part of my life growing up, and you were there for most of it.

Sixteen years ago, I stumbled into your world. Back then, social media was barely a thing and blogging was the OG way to share thoughts online.

My very first platform was Multiply. But when it shut down, I found you. I also explored Blogger (aka Blogspot) and bounced between the two for a while. My posts are kind of scattered because of that. I liked Blogspot too, but you felt like home. I loved how I could customize and tinker with the backend even when there were no tutorials, no YouTube walkthroughs, and no one guiding me. I wasn’t a custom coder or anything, but it felt like discovering this hidden creative playground. Every tweak felt like a little win, and I just kept following my curiosity.

In 2012, my then-boyfriend (now husband) TJ gifted me my very first domain. It’s not active anymore, but it’s something I’ll always be grateful for. I couldn’t think of a good blog name at the time even though I had always wanted one. So I stuck with it for a few years and even handwrote the name to upload as a logo. DIY forever!

just updated my other Instagram account for things like this! Follow me here

It’s been a month since the quarantine… wondering when this will end. *sighs* Anyway. Since I did another meal prep earlier, I am only just starting work now — 3:11p. Will be doing some website-related work. I finally found my rose gold stainless steel strap. My smartwatch face of the day is from Samsung! What’s yours?
