My blog has always been personal type but it’s no secret! and I like and enjoy the liberty of writing whatever floats my boat. I remember how I would constantly update my blog with posts (when I was still on blogspot / Blogger.com) – it was always a Dear Diary kind of thing. Talking to myself. Not caring who would read it or how my blog stats performed. It’s different now however for there are times I would feel conscious (and pressured since blogging also has become A WHOLE LOT different nowadays – not that it’s a bad thing!) and I end up not writing anything on my blog. But I realized why the heck do I even care when the reason I started blogging was not for anyone but me? This is what this blog is for anyway – to
overshare about my life because I want to be able to go back and read all memories and events that happened. So here I am now, writing to share about my week through this “Week In The Life” post series.
Welcome to my life diaries!

Since I work at the comfort of my home, there’s Monday rush no more. Yep, I finally landed an online job. I like being online but never visible. My work usually starts at nine in the evening, but for today, I did half of my tasks in the afternoon so I could retire early.
My monthly bill for SMART came and I was overcharged 3,000 f* pesos for my data usage. I don’t remember using that much the past 30 days. Maybe now is the time to have my postpaid line cut since I also realized that it isn’t practical anymore for we got internet at home and I’m not big on sending SMS (heck, I even suck at replying to any messages – it takes me forever to actually send my reply) and calling people. So para sa’n pa yung unlimited call and text with free internet data plan ko diba. Mag load nalang ako when needed.

I met with my high school buddies, my closest guy friends, Ralph and Jeric for lunch. Jeric was leaving for Singapore for work and since he’s going to be busy, he lent me his original copy of his SIMS 4. Yay! I tried uploading it when I got home but it was unsuccessful. 🙁 Will find another time for it.

I was able to update my YouTube channel with a new unboxing video under 3 minutes! To be honest, I had to contain my excitement while recording the video kasi ayokong magmukhang parang ignorante. Hahahahaha. Anyway. I wrote all about my gorgeous gold laptop and a bit of information on specs and pictures on my previous post.

Nothing much for this day. I kept myself focused at work, doing Photoshop. Before hitting the sack, I put pore strip for I hadn’t done that in a long time. Took it off and it was the best feeling ever. Sarap ipa-frame ng strip after Haha! The best talaga.

My alarm did not chime so obviously I woke up late, did my simple makeup look at 10ish am, drove myself to Hairs & Nails salon at 12:30pm to have my hair done for the makeup workshop by YouTube personality Michelle Dy. I wanted straight hair like hers (for that day only) so that’s what I asked the stylist to do with mine. Para hair twinning lang! 😛 Thanks to Hairs & Nails salon for my sleek and shiny looking hair!
The workshop, held at Yolks Flower Cafe + Cupcakery, was an exclusive activity with the Davao Bloggers Society and was made possible by SMART. I learned the proper way of contouring. Yay! Thanks mamshie Misyel! 😀 We ended at around 5pm and I went home to get ready for work. (See album here for more photos of Michelle Dy’s makeup workshop that day.)

We took Taffy out to meet with her furry friend, Moti – human friends included – and had lunch at newly opened Pawsome Dog Cafe. If you’re planning on going there anytime soon, be sure to visit first their official Facebook page and read ALL the rules, their do’s and don’ts.
I ordered chicken carbonara for lunch and grabe, it was sooo good! <3 TJ loves pork chop so that’s what he got. Of course Pawsome Dog Cafe also serves meals for dogs! I would’ve wanted pork liver for Taffy but it was not available at that time so we got her beef instead but she barely even touched the food. Maybe because of the rice and she does not eat rice. We got her yogurt from Yoh Froz (a place nearby) and as always, she loved it! I’m sure she had an absolutely pawsome day! We did, too. 🙂 (PAWSOME PICTURES RIGHT HERE.)

No alarm to wake me up because it’s a Sunday and it’s a rest day. For our early lunch today, I prepared 3 pieces of fried chicken *nomnom* and corn. No real rice ‘coz whenever I eat with TJ, bihira lang talaga na may rice so tiis-tiis today. Hahaha! While waiting for the chicken to be cooked, I was arranging Taffy’s stuff. ‘Coz Sundays are made for organizing!
Sundays are also for giving thanks. And I’m thankful for this fun-filled week. I realized that there’s been so much going on this week and I thought it’s something worth sharing here. What are you thankful for this week?
